First ICPCE held at NEU

The 1st International Conference on Psychology, Counselling and Education was held on August 2-4, 2018 at the New Era University, Quezon City.

 

The event was organized by Psychreg, an online resource on psychology, mental health and well-being, with its co-organizers; Asian Psychological Services and Assessment, the Global Psychology and Language Research Association and the New Era University. The theme of the conference was: Preparing Psychologists, Counsellors and Educators for the Contemporary Trends of the 21st Century.

Guests speakers came from different parts of the world: Prof. Jamie Hacker Hughes of British Psychological Society (UK), Dr. Harris Shah of Asian Psychological Association (Malaysia), Dr. Berney Wilkinson and Dr. Richard Marshall of Webster University (US), Dr. Dahlia Domingo of GPLRA (Philippines), Dr. Nida Roncesvalles of Texas Tech University (US), Rohit Sagoo of Anglia Ruskin University (UK), Fraser Smith of Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), Mandy Sanghera of European Parliament (UK), Isabel Ghisolfi of Columbia University (US), Dr. Imelda Villar of PRC, Dr. Jonathan Macayan of Mapua University and Cherry Ragunton of Interspect Training Services, all from the Philippines. The three-day conference was a fruitful one that tackled the overarching disciplines of psychology, counselling and education.
