Buenaventura de Castro (Resident Minister, Lipa City Locale) called for Sister Leticia Ramos Rocafort (District NFE Coordinator at the DepEd Lipa City Division Office) to meet with Dr. Corazon C. Osorio and her colleagues at the Pastoral House. She was then tasked to secure pertinent papers, and to interview and meticulously screen the incoming teachers, staff, and support service personnel.

New Era University - Lipa City Branch was established on May 5, 2000, [3] under the leadership of Brother Eraño G. Manalo, the Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, from 1963 to 2009. Its inauguration was part of the New Era University Main Campus' Silver Jubilee celebration, a milestone that is worthy to magnify. The New Era University Lipa City Branch was established primarily to give glory to the Lord God Almighty and to accommodate the needs of the members of the Church Of Christ not only in the cognitive aspect but especially in the need to fully preserve heir faith.

On its first operating year, there were one hundred eighty-five (185) pupils in the pre-school and elementary department, eight (8) administrative officials, and twelve (12) faculty members. The first Branch Director was Brother Alberto R. Domingo Jr., a Minister and educator.

High school curriculum was offered during its second year of operation [4] having one hundred sixty-five enrollees (165), two hundred thirteen (213) in the elementary , and forty-nine (49) in the pre-school for a total of four hundred twenty-seven (427) pupils and students. It was doubled compared to the previous year. Thirteen (13) high school faculty members were added.

In the seventh year of the school, the most essential edifice was established - the chapel of the New Era Local Congregation. It was approved on September 07, 2007 and was dedicated to God on September 15, 2007 by Brother Bienvenido C. Santiago. It was a 500-seater house of worship service to accommodate the branch's spiritual needs.

The official newsletter of the branch "Ugnayan" was launched during the Academic Year 2008-2009. Students to a certain extent were pretty excited to showcase their writing capacities and ingenuity through feature and news writing. It was on April 3, 2009 when the school started to extend its service to children with Special needs. Academic year 2015-2016 when the school offered courses in College such as Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, and Accounting Technology.

On July 27, 2014 - The branch gained enormous faith and enthusiasm with all the achievements and world record accomplishments of the currently called 21st Century Church - the IGLESIA NI CRISTO! It made both the Academic and Administrative Council, together with the stakeholders, to collaborate in ensuring the standards for the branch to be considered as a 21st Century School.

The achievements that the university has received are truly innumerable since its founding year. Currently, it passed the PACUCOA Level 2 Accredited Status 2022. It has also produced top-notch students. It has received a letter of commendation given by the most beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo on November 2014 which made the entire campus more energetic and enormously inspired to perform their duties and obligations to the school. The school has also been a witness of many struggles just like what happened on the 12th of January 2020 when the famous Taal Volcano situated in Batangas erupted.

However, such calamity was never a hindrance for the university to extend its services in helping the community since this is the extension of the Church Administration of the Church Of Christ to fulfill God's command, one of which is helping the needy or victims of calamities. New Era University Lipa City Branch served as an evacuation area for hundreds of Batanguenos. Members of the school administration, faculty, and staff volunteered for the Aid to Humanity, a program of the INC's charitable arm, the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, in distributing the needs of the victims such as food and medicine.

As people recover from the damage caused by the volcanic eruption, the world was shaken by the news that the new deadly disease caused by the virus which later called Covid-19 has spread and reached the Philippines. On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global pandemic. The government declared a total lockdown, implemented a minimum health protocol, and temporarily closed various establishments, religious gatherings, and schools.

The university was prompt. Teachers phoned up their students and parents to know their condition. The Church Administration through Christian Family Organization launched mental health awareness seminars to strengthen the faith primarily of the brethren and students enrolled in the school. Education has to continue. Different modalities were suggested. Virtual classroom was created and learning was done through online. This paved way t NEU Virtual Learnning Environment (NEUVLE) wherein students can access their activities using their NEU account Learning went smoothly with the assistance of the diligent and workaholic teachers.

However, no matter how many storms come, the heart of the university will not change - trust in what the Father can do and continue to pray to Him. The school continues to serve parents and students whether there is a pandemic or calamity. It continues to help students achieve their dreams with the help of teachers, ministers and workers lec by the present Branch Director, Brother Norman U. Ramos, in acc Ramos, in accordance and united with the spirit and aim of the Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ - Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

Prior to this, the Branch Administration and faculty laid their plans for the opening of classes. They prepared the school by cleaning all the areas, providing materials and facilities as prescribed by the Department of Education. Presently, Lipa's Branch Dlrector is Bro. Beliardo DT. Dote.

For more than two decades, the School has been a witness to triumphs and trials. But the School believes it will continue to exist not because of the people who run the school but because of the guidance of the Lord God

Almighty which was the resounding message of the late Brother Erano G.Manalo, the brainchild of NEU-LCB's emergence that: "The prime purpose of this school is for the Glory of God. Let no one teach here anything that will alienate man from God. Let not this school be the battle- ground of warring students. Let no one destroy the brotherly love that should exist between teachers and students. Above all, let the implementation and fulfillment of God's words be the prevailing atmosphere inside this structure where wisdom dwells."

On May 05, 2025 the branch reached its 25th anniversary. The administrators and faculty members started planning for the activities in accordance with the school's mission-vision - to give glory to God and selfless service to humanity.
