AN OPPORTUNITY MOST FORTUITOUS

Universities need to have linkages with other learning institutions to ensure that the quality of teaching and learning in the campus is within world-class standards. That is why the visit of 86 administrators and school officials from nearly 40 Chinese Universities to the NEU Main Campus is a most fortuitous opportunity.

Amidst the vibrant community of the New Era University Main Campus, the Chinese delegates were warmly embraced by students, staff, and officials. A short program was held at the University Hall, where the officials were regaled with performances from the University Choir and the Rondalla Group. In his speech, NEU President Alberto R. Domingo Jr. expressed the University’s ardent desire to collaborate with the Chinese Universities in research, outreach, and student and faculty exchanges. Special Envoy of Philippines to China Hon. Benito Techico was among the invited guests who bore witness to the event.

In all, the occasion is a noteworthy event that will long be remembered.
