AVENEU nabs its 3rd recognition from Anak TV Seal Awards

The New Era University - College of Communication TV program AVENEU airs at INCTV nabbed the 2024  Anak TV Seal Awards for Television Category.

This year awarding ceremony of Anak TV Seal held at EVM Convention Center along Central Avenue in Quezon City with  its theme “Friendship in Diversity” were participated by eleven (11) TV networks including Net 25 and INC TV in which both networks garnered tremendous awards for producing programs for children.

On her opening remarks, Anak TV Seal Chairperson Elvira Yap Go encouraged more TV networks to produce outstanding television programs that is suitable for children .

The 3rd Anak TV Seal awards nabbed by COC produced program AVENEU was received by its Director Leo Paulo Magcalas, a professor of the College of Communication together with the hosts and its production staff. 

Former Vice President Noli de Castro, a media personality and a renown journalist of ABS-CBN who were present in the event personally received Anak TV Makabata Hall of Fame awards with a remarkable introduction from Korina Sanchez of NET 25.

De Castro on his speech said that parents should be observant and took time to watch their children in using the gadget and social media.

Drew Arellano of AHA - Biyahe ni Drew of GMA-7 was also Anak TV Makabata Hall of Fame awardee for this year but he  failed to be present due to an earlier commitment.

The INCTV also nabbed several Anak TV Seal awards for its 18 programs including AVENEU like Pundasyon; Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope; Spotlight;  CFO Vision; Christian Society for the Deaf; Gabay sa Mabuting Asal; INC International Edition; INC News Jr.; INCMV By Request; Le Rendez-Vous (FRENCH); Little Juan's Playlist; Musiko; NegosUniversity; Paninindigan; Pasugo; Ti Pudno A Dalan (Ilocano) and Trabaho Ko 'To.

For Net 25, there are 12 programs that has been recognized and received Anak TV Seal Awards such as Ano sa Palagay N'yo (ASPN); Art Academy; Goodwill; Ito ang Tahanan; Letters and Music; Love Tonipet and Everythaaang!; Lutong Daza Goes to Cebu;  Magandang Araw; Mata ng Agila Primetime; Mata ng Agila sa Tanghali; Mata ng Agila Weekend and Responde.

Anak TV Seal is an advocacy organization that promotes  television literacy which pushes for the agenda of child sensitive and family friendly television here and abroad.

The awarding ceremony was also a star-studded both from media and TV industry with Kim Atienza of GMA 7, Jiggy Manicad, Barbie Fortaleza, Christian Bautista, Argus Aspiras of ABSCBN; Jeff Canoy a journalist from ABSCBN and a lot more.

The UP Singing Ambassadors showed their prowess in live performance with Kalesa and the INC Tabenacle Children’s Choir with its rendition of “Po at Opo.”

The 2024 Anak TV Seal Awards were well represented and participated by big TV Networks such as INCTV; NET 25; ABS CBN; GMA 7; KNOWLEDGE CHANNEL; PTV 4; IBC - CHINATOWN TV; GTV and UNTV.  (meliza maluntag)
