Chinese Universities Visits New Era University

Eighty-Six (86) officials from 40 different Universities in People’s Republic of China visited the New Era University, Main Campus in Quezon City last March 18, 2024.

Among those who went were Vice Presidents, Deans, and other academic and administrative officials from leading universities in China as part of their itinerary in the Philippines after conducting their HSK Study in China Education and Career Expo in Shangrila Hotel, Makati City.

The Chinese visitors are from well-known schools in China such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan Univeristy, among others.

The delegates were welcome by the officials of the New Era University led by Dr. Alberto R. Domingo Jr., NEU President.

He expressed the University’s ardent desire to learn and get to know each other in pursuit of academic learning, collaborate with the Chinese Universities in research, outreach, including student and faculty exchanges, “We are truly humbled for this opportunity to meet China’s University officials and trail blaze our continuing friendship and academic exchanges in the future,” Dr. Domingo said.

Dr. Domingo humbly shared to the delegates the highlights of NEU’s academic achievements such as 100% passing rate in the licensure examinations, and NEU placement as 4th Best University in Quezon City and ranked 70 in the entire Philippines according to EduRank.org.

In response to the warm welcome that the Chinese University delegates received, Beihang University Vice President Dr. Hai-jun Huang appreciates the good gesture that the NEU Community expressed.

In the end, the activity was ended by a quick tour of the delegates at the New Era University Complex, INC Museum and NET 25.

The occasion was also graced by Philippine Special Envoy to China for Trade, Investment and Tourism Hon. Benito Techico, “By forging new connections and building bridges of understanding, we can create a brighter and more inclusive future for generations to come,” Techico said in his message.
