16th Commencement Exercises and Honoring of New Lawyers of the NEU College of Law


The New Era University – College of Law convoked its 16th Commencement Exercises and Honoring of New Lawyers on June 15, 2019 at the University Hall. Atty. Randy B. Escolango, Deputy Insurance Commissioner of the Insurance Commission delivered his commencement speech to the graduating batch.


Bro. Edmario M. Reyes, Member of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Nilo L. Rosas, University President; Atty. Serafin V. Cuevas Jr., Vice President for Legal and External Affairs and Dean of the College of Law, Bro. Julian J. Meimban III, Vice President for Research; and Atty. David Jonathan V. Yap, Associate Dean of the College of Law led the conferment of Degrees and Titles, distribution of Diplomas and Medallions, and awarding of Honors.


2018 Bar Passer and Academic Excellence Awardee Batch 2018, Atty. Salymar V. Santos delivered her Testimonial Address. Ms. Kriska R. Antiojo, Academic Excellence Awardee Batch 2019, likewise gave her Valedictory Address.


The graduates then took their oath as Alumni led by Justice Angelita V. Miranda, Assistant Solicitor General of the Office of the Solicitor General and President of the NEU – Alumni Association Inc.

Before the Graduation Ceremony, a Special Thanksgiving Worship Service was held at the New Era University House of Worship earlier that day..
